        Male and Female candidates can apply for FLYING BRANCH  as well as GROUND DUTY (TECHNICAL AND NON TECHNICAL) under both Short service comission and Long service comission Thru AFCAT / NCC.

    Commencement date of online application for AFCAT 01 2022: 1-DEC-2021 10:00HRS

    Last date to Apply Online for  AFCAT 01 2022: 30-DEC-2021 17:00HRS

As a graduate There can be THREE modes of entry in IAF:
        1. CDSE (Combined Defence Service Examination) (for Men ONLY)
            > applied thru UPSC website
        2. NCC Special entry (for both Men and Women)
            >candidates can apply online thru NCC special entry.
        3. AFCAT ENTRY (SSC for Men and Women)
            >Short service commission is for 14 years with no further extension.
            >Age: 20 to 24 years
            >INDIAN, SINGLE, 50% IN 10+2, three year graduation 60% or B.tech 60%
            >GENERALLY RELEASED DURING JUNE AND DECEMBER
