UPSC CPF (AC) Exam 2014: Notification for the employment of 136 CPF (AC) i.e. (Central Armed Police Forces (Assistant Commandants) Examination) has been published by UPSC (Union public service comission)
Date of application: from 12-04-2014 to 12-05-2014, closing of application will be done at 11:59PM.
SYLLABUS FOR WRITTER EXAM:
THIS INCLUDES PAPER I and PAPER II
Paper I:

General Ability and General Intelligence:
1: Metal ability including reasoning,m quantitative aptitude, numerical ability and date interpretation.
2: General science: Questions with general awareness in science with Bachelor degree levels, question based on daily life science, IT, COMPUTERS, ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE, etc
3: Current events based on awards, sports, culture, etc
4: India polity and constitution with Indian Economy.
5. History of India.
6. Geography.
Paper II:

Part-A – Essay questions which are to be answered in long narrative form either In Hindi or English totaling 80 Marks. The indicative topics are modern Indian history especially of the freedom struggle, geography, polity and economy, Knowledge of security and human rights issues, and analytical ability.

Part-B – Comprehension, précis writing, other communications/language skills – to be attempted in English only (Marks 120) – The topics are Comprehension Passages, précis writing, developing counter arguments, simple grammar and Other aspects of language testing.
